Viz Interaction

Hi,

 

I've had an existing Powerr BI dataset/reports/dashboard working fine.

 

Then I've wanted to add in some tables from an existing datasource that I didn't include first time around, So I imported the the table from same datasource and picked the tables I missed first time. and creates a viz from that new table. The ony problem which is happening is that the new viz created from new table is interactive with other old viz in dashborad but not vice versa(means if you press something on new viz then you can see changes in the old viz but when you do the opposite then interactivity is not happening).

    Hi porwaa

    To let the new visual interact with the old visual, you need to create relationship between the old table and the new table.

    If you have dufficult doing such task, please share example tables, and the expected results.

      Hi Maggie

       

      Actually the power BI is connected to Access DB. I created a new querry in access DB from the old tables.So those old tables were already there in Power BI and I just transported the new querry from Acess DB into power BI.
