Visuals that can be stacked?

Is there a way to stack visuals in a way that tooltips and selections still work for all of them and not only the topmost?

Hi @TheHerkules,

Based on my test in Power BI desktop August version, when we place the pie chart overlap the column chart, when we select the pie chart, hover the mouse on the pie chart and column chart, tooltips can display fine. We can click any slice in pie chart to highlight column chart, but once we click on the column chart to highlight the pie chart, we need to click on any blank space out side of the column chart, then we are able to select the pie chart. 

In a word, as pie chart overlap the column chart, once we select on the column chart, we need to click on the report blank space to release selection, then we are able to select the pie chart.

Thank you @v-qiuyu-msft, I think your example will geht much tougher as soon as pie- and bar-chart share a bigger overlap. What if you make them same place, same size?

Hi @TheHerkules,

The workaround should work as long as the pie chart and column chart don't overlap completely. 

But is there any specific reason that you want to overlap two visuals?
