Visualize rating upgrades and downgrades of companies over time

Hello community,

I am looking for a solution for the visualisation of rating upgrades and downgrades of companies over time.

The problem is that I cannot get the ratings visualised as text (AAA, AA, A, BBB, etc.).

My chart currently looks like this:

The 1 corresponds to AAA, the 2 corresponds to AA, etc.
Instead of the numbers, however, I would like to have the ratings on my axis.

Does anyone know if there is a way to do this?

Thank you!!

This may not be pretty but it should do what you need.

Thank you for your feedback.

Here is a table with sample data:

CompanyCredit RatingCredit Rating No.Date
Company 1AAA131.01.2022
Company 1AA228.02.2022
Company 1AAA131.03.2022
Company 1A330.04.2022
Company 1BBB431.05.2022
Company 1A330.06.2022
Company 2AA231.01.2022
Company 2A328.02.2022
Company 2BBB431.03.2022
Company 2A330.04.2022
Company 2A331.05.2022
Company 2AA230.06.2022

The goal is to see the months on the x-axis and the credit rating on the y-axis, so that the rating development is shown over time.
Unfortunately I can't find a solution to show the credit rating in letters over time. One solution would be to show the credit rating number. This works of course, but does not meet the requirements for the report.

Here is an example screenshot of how the result should look like:

This may not be pretty but it should do what you need.

Thank you very much, this solves my problem. 🙂
