Visualization: YTD target vs YTD actual
Anonymous wrote:1) I have to update the YTD target "98" manually. is there any way get this update automaticlly?
2) can i change the font of target '98", it look too small. When i change txt size under "Data labels", the target "98" stay the same.
1) Create a MEASURE NOT A COLUMN and as per GilbertQ's suggestion use TOTALYTD OR DATESYTD
YTD Measure FY 06-30 = TOTALYTD ( SUM ( Table[Column] ), 'Calendar'[Date], "06/30" ) YTD Measure FY 06-30 ALT = CALCULATE ( SUM ( Table[Column] ), DATESYTD ( 'Calendar'[Date], "06-30" ) )
you can skip the optional Fiscal Year End (the underlined part) if you use a regular calendar year!
then place that MEASURE in the Target Value field => that's in the Fields not under the Formatting (Paint Brush)
get rid of all numbers you've put in the Gauge Axis under the Formatting (Paint Brush) options
2) to change the size of the font of the target you'll have to use the Tachometer instead of the regular gauge
because unfortunately this option is not available in the gauge

Hope this helps!
Good Luck! :smileyhappy:
