Visualization Suggestions / Best way to show the data

I have promotions data : (Showing ex of one emp)

ID               Prom Date        From Job      To Job

12               10/24/2019        Reg              Exec

12               8/25/2016          ERG              Reg

12               7/7/2013            MNP            ERG

So it shows he was promoted from one role to another and currently he is in job "Exec"

Like this I have a list of employees who are in Exec role currently. What I need to show is a count of people and what role they were in before the "Exec" role. something as follows:

           

So 100 people are in exec role now, but before this out of 100 - 15 were in CM, 10 were in FN and so on...

And out of the 15 in CM .. say 5 were in Mgr Role, 5 were in ENT role etc...

I am trying to show what roles were many people were in before they come to executive role currently. any easy way to represent this?

So, do you want to show only the role previous, or all roles previous? Do a count and represent that in a bar graph? Does that solve it?
