Helper IIIVisualise a fixed value in a line chart only when a attribute is choosed in a filter
Hello guys,
My Table looked something like this:
Date / Concentration 1 in / Concentration 2 in / Concentration 3 out / ...
1.1. / 4 / 7 / 3
2.1 / 8 / 1 / 9
3.1 / 1 / 5 / 11
I unpivoted every Columns except the Date Column so I can choose trough a filter if I want only see Concentration 1, 2 or 3 based trough the Date. I connected the filter table "Value" with the new "Attribute" Column of my unpivoted table.
My filter table looks like this:
Attribute / Value
Inflow / Concentration 1 in
Inflow / Concentration 2 in
Otflow / Concentration 3 out
Otflow / Concentration 2 out
So now I visualised the unpivoted table with a line chart and I can now choose trough the filter if I want to see every concentration, the in- or outflow or only some specific concentrations.
But now I want to visualise specific limit values as a continuous line over the whole visualisation. Every concentration owns his own limit value which is given in another table as a seperate column.
Limit Concentration 1 in / Limit Concentration 2 out / etc...
40 / 20 / ...
And now I want to see the limit value in the line chart only when I choosed the concentration in the filter.
Is it possible?

I did this now like this:
Limit Table
Name of Concentration / Limit Value
Concentration 1 out / 20
Concentration 2 out / 40
Concentration 3 out / 80
I connected from Limit Table the "Name of Concentration" with my Filter Table Column "Value" which has the same names like above. And then I connected the names in my main table which is unpivoted expect the data, with the Filter Table.
It functions nice when I apply the filter, every limit is seen when I choose a single concentration.
But when I choose Concentration 1 and 2, the values of the limits are adding up. So I have a limit value in my visual which is a addition of limit Concentration 1 + limit Concentration 2.
Is it possible that the limits are not adding up when choosing more than one Concentration?
Edit: Okay I think I know what the problem is. When I add Limit Value and the Main Value in the line Chart, Im not able put the Names in the Legend and vice versa. So when I choose Concentration 1 and 2 in my Filter, the Visual is not able to distinct between the Concentration 1 and 2.

Clout , You need have a limit table with values Concentration 1 to 3
and common table with values Concentration 1 to 3.
Join both Limit and Main table with this common table. And use that to show limit and value together
