Visualisation multiple choice answers

Hello,

I took a survey where some questions allowed respondents to tick multiple response options. In my report, I would have liked to show the proportion of respondents who ticked a particular answer option, visualised in a bar chart.

With a simple example, this looks like this:

Data table:

How I want this to be displayed in Power BI (now calculated in Excel):

Thanks in adance

  • Hi wdvro

You need to first find out how respondants there are. Presuming there is a ResponseID or UserID in the Data ?

    Reposnses/Users = DISTINCTCOUNT('Table'[ResponseID])

    Then Create this

    % = DIVIDE([Responses/Users], CALCULATE([Responses/Users], ALL('Table')))

    Convert to %

    Thanks

    Joe
