Visualisation Display while filtering and product fail

Hi there,

 

Hope you are getting well.

 

I got a modeling data such as Product (Internal ID) with specification link to Item (Product ID) with quantity link to Sales(ID) with date information, total price... link to Customer by ID

I tried to get sales by filtering on Product category = Sleeping and it fails. Because it s giving Sales ID not matching filter. 

 

 

Now i will add Product Description from Item it will show all Sales ID with product sold.

 

I will focus sales ID = 17614 regarding first Data Viz display.

 

Why in the first Data Viz, Power Bi is showing me Sales ID that not match filter Product Category = "Sleeping". I have to add Item ProductID (not Product InternalID) to have the good Data.

 I think Power Bi shows every Customer who orderered product Category = "Sleeping" with all Sales ID...

Do you have an idea? I dont want to add Item Product ID cause I want the sales view. This problem is also on other graph, for exmple Number of ID Sales with Product Category = "Sleeping"

    Hi IZIPIZI-SEE ,

     

    I guess the problem might be related to cross filter direction.

     

    Are the relationships you created many to one or one to many? 

     

    Single cross filter direction means "single direction", and Both means "both directions". A relationship that filters in both directions is commonly described as bi-directional.

     

    For one-to-many relationships, the cross filter direction is always from the "one" side, and optionally from the "many" side (bi-directional). For one-to-one relationships, the cross filter direction is always from both tables. Lastly, for many-to-many relationships, cross filter direction can be from either one of the tables, or from both tables. Notice that when the cardinality type includes a "one" side, that filters will always propagate from that side.

    Please change the cross filter direction and try again.

    Hey,

    Thx you for all the information.

    Here is my BDD architecture.

     

    I tried to change relationship between tables to have bi-directionnal filter. It works between Item_Sales and Product, but I got error message for others

     

    I could apply relation bi-lateral with my invoices... No idea why it can not work with my sales. See bellow
