I have recently updated PowerBI Desktop to 2.111.590.0 64-bit (November 2022), and when I move any visual, the size changes. This even happened on the previous version, update of October 2022. I even unistalled and reinstalled the app. I have set a filter 150x150 but when i move it, the size changes to 144x144. This happens without any overlapping with other visuals. Tried with both Lock aspect ratio enable and disabled, but same issue. Also tried with a Table, but same issue.
This is still a problem - there seems to be an open issue at Bug Report - Visuals changing size after moving th... - Microsoft Fabric Community.
After some testing, I found a connection with the zoom level set on the canvas. I experienced 157px being changed to 156px - but only when zoom was "Fit to page" (116% on my setup)*. At 100% it did not happen. I also experienced vertical size being changed when using a horizontal only handle. It seem any move or resize will recalculate all dimensions based on the current zoom even if they weren't changed and introduce new fractional losses?
Given the upcoming change to the default canvas size, it seems a lot of people may suddenly experience this as their zoom levels will change and the stable size of any items will change?
* Errors can also be induced at a zoom of 50% and possibly others.
Hi @GRC ,
I cannot reproduce the issue.

Hello @Anonymous,
I tried with the pbix you sent but the same issue. Here is a video of how it is happening https://vimeo.com/778755149. Hope this helps.
Yes I saw this (Visuals change dimensions once moved - Microsoft Power BI Community) but thought it is old (2019) and possibly not related to the latest updates.
@amitchandak I have checked other issues but was not able to find one similar to this. Do i have to create it somewhere else? The link you sent take me to Suggest an idea.
