I have a date slicer and a trend chart. My trend chart shows data even if that falls beyond the date range. Why is that?
Slicer selects 12/30/2014 as end date. Still 2015 is displayed in visual.

Hey @tvaishnav !
Is the 'Post Date' used in the slicer the same date used on the x-axis in the graph? Is the 'Post Date' in a separate table than the date used on the x-axis in the graph?
Can you post sample data or a screenshot of your field & visualization wells?
hi, @tvaishnav
Please check:
If "Post Date" and "Payroll End Date" are the same date
or create the relationship by them? and if the cross filter direction should be "Both".
If not your case, please share your sample pbix file for us to have a test.
Best Regards,
Lin

I was using two different date fields one for slicer and another for visual. Putting the same field on both silcer and visual solved the problem.
