Visual properties getting refreshed while copying in the September 2020 Update
Hi All,
I am trying to copy paste few visuals from one pbix to another and the formatting of the visual gets refrefreshed (example: background gets turned on) while doing that.
I have used the similer approach earlier as well and it was fine back then.
Is there something i'm missing or is it a bug in the september update?

Do you mean the visual properties have changed in new copied file after copy from the original file? For example, there are two files A and B. And you want to copy the table visual in A file to B file, the option "Background" of table visual in A file be toggle off, but the relative option toggle on after copy to B file. Could you please provide some screenshots? What's the version of your Power BI Desktop?

Hi,
I'm not able to reproduce that so considering it could have been due to monterary system issue.
But other than that, intraction properties do get reset while copying a set of visual from file A to B.
Example: I have 5 visuals in File A and i have kept the intraction disabled (Manually seleting one by one), then i copy those visuals in File B. I this case all the disabled intraction turns back on by default.
Do we have any solution for this?

Currently it is impossible to save the interactive settings when copying visuals from one file to another file in Power BI. Here is one similar idea shared on Power BI Ideas , you can vote it up and add your comments there to improve Power BI on this feature. You can also raise a new idea and add your comments there to make this feature coming sooner.
