Visual interaction is really slow after report level filter is applied

I have created a report with a direct query connection to an Azure SQL DB.

I have a pie chart that interacts with a column chart. Normally clicking on a slice filters the column chart quickly, But when a report level filter is applied,The visual interaction takes 2 - 3 mins.
The thing is that It was working fine until I installed the latest (dec 2018) version of PBI desktop.

Please help.

Hi @Anonymous

Based on my test, i cannot reproduce the same issue. Maybe you could create a new report to build the model and test again. Here is the document about Power BI Performance for your reference.
