Hello,
We use a slicer to filter year in a report, for some of the visuals we do not want the filter to be active.
For doing so, we try to use the Manage Interaction button in order to select what should not be affected by the click on slicer.
However, even by disabling the selection, it is still filtering the data.
Any of you already encountered such issue? Is it because we cannot really disable slicer filtering?
Thanks for your guidance 🙂
Hi, @Anonymous
According to the sample picture you posted, it seems that you truly turned off the interaction for the year slicer between the two charts. And I think the year slicer can’t affect the two charts now. Then I guess that maybe the charts are affected by other related slicers or charts, you should go to have a check.

Hi,
Unfortunately I cannot share the pbix because it contains company data, however, even with the set up like this it's still possible to do an interaction between Year slicer and the visual. Do you think about something else?
Thank
Hi, @Anonymous
As far as I’m concerned, it’s also related to the relationship between your main table and your date table. Do you use the table relationship to connect the year slicer and the charts or creating the measures to get data from the date table? If you use this method, the interaction is possible to be not controlled by the “Manage Interaction”.
Thank you very much!

@Anonymous , Interaction can two or three options, filter, fill and stop. Make sure you have stopped those.
Interaction is between each visual to other visual. so you have to stop it from other visuals.
Also, there is no way to stop the filter from the filter pane.
refer how stopped and divided page into 2 parts

Hi, thank you for your answer. Indeed I selected "stop" but it does filter it 😞
See below the picture, Year slicer is selected and related graphs are in "stop" mode.
