Hello,
i create running sum using visual calculaction, and have strange problem. Data are for two companies, for one visual calculaction worsk fine, for second the first value is not correct (mark on red) what have huge negative impact on result.
Someone have similar issue? Any ideas how fix it? or its some bug in pbi?
I'd be appreciate for help with that.
Hi @ewakol
What is your expected outcome?
The RUNNINGSUM() function is used for visual-level operations:
RUNNINGSUM function (DAX) - DAX | Microsoft Learn
It seems that September is the starting line, the result should be correct.
If possible, share some data(exclude sensitive data) or create some sample data and provide the expected result with backend logic and special examples? It would be helpful to find out the solution.

And It is better if you can share a simplified pbix file. You can refer the following link to upload the file to the community. Thank you.

Hello,
and thank you for reply thanks that i found what is a problem, so i create visualisations based on DAX calendar which cut data to last 12mc + 12mc
its works very good, because i don't want to show data from other periods, instead of running sum, this one must be calculated from the beginning, do you have any idea how cloud i solve this?
I am not sure I exactly follow what you want, but it looks to me like you are trying to do a running sum over data that is not on the visual. this will not work. RUNNINGSUM only operates over data that's in the visual. Please share the DAX you are using for RUNNINGSUM as well as the data so we can help.
@jeroenterheerdt can you assist ?
