in the powerbi report I add the Visual Stacked column chart.
when I 1st add the visual it displays in Ascending order, and visually is easy on the eye.
I test the report, by clicking other visuals. The result, the Stacked column chart changes order by Department in alphabetical order. and I am never successful changing the visual back to ascending order. I create a new Visual, and if I click another visual the same problem occurs again.
The department totals will be constantly changing.
Before - 1st Create Visual Stacked Column chart - in ascending order
After - after clicking another visual
is there an easy to set the bars to Ascending order and it 'sticks'
TIA

Hi @dd88
Have you manually set the sort order and not relied on the default?

You could click on the ellipse of the stacked column chart and sort by axis. It will then be sorted accordingly no matter which visual you interact with. Hope this helps!

Hi @dd88
You could click on the ellipse of the stacked column chart and sort it by the axis you want (looks like it will be by the sum of your Y-axis). Then it will always be sorted according to ascending/descending sum regardless of any visual you click. Hope this helps.
