Visual Interactions, can we filter to three levels deep

I have three groupings for my data.  I want to use line and columns charts on my powerBI report for all three.  I would like it so if you click a data point on the first visual, it filters the second and third visuals (This works).  Then with my second chart already filtered, I would like to click a data point and it filters the third chart.  Like I am drilling down.  But what happens when I click a data point in the second, to filter the third.  The second becomes unfiltered.  The third visual filters ok, but I can't see the path of my heirarchy through the three visuals.

 

Is this a limitation?  Is there a work around?  Maybe I am not configuring correctly?

 

Any help appreciated.

I would love if this was possible - the closest you can get to this is by using slicers or page/report filters.

 

However there is a feature request for this that you should vote for is you want to see this feature. Go here to vote.
