Visual Creation help please.
Hi TheDon
Unlike Excel, Power BI doesn't treat visuals as individual cells, so recreating a matrix like the one you have—especially with multiple time-based breakdowns in a single matrix—isn’t straightforward using standard matrix visuals.
However, there are workarounds using dynamic measures or calculated groups (field parameters). These techniques allow you to control what appears in the matrix dynamically.
This thread discusses a very similar challenge (although the question there is about vertical customization, the logic is the same for horizontal layouts):

Hi TheDon
Following up on your question about showing 3-month, 6-month, and 12-month breakdowns in one matrix visual as mentioned earlier, Power BI doesn’t natively support this in a single standard matrix.
Suggested options include using dynamic measures or calculated groups/field parameters to control the display dynamically. An example was shared in the previous thread for reference.
Let us know if you’d like more details on setting this up.
Hi TheDon
Just following up were you able to try the suggested approaches (dynamic measures or field parameters) to achieve the matrix layout you’re aiming for?
If the solution provided by Ritaf1983 helped,These options (dynamic measures or calculated groups/field parameters) allow you to control the display dynamically, and an example was shared in the previous thread for reference.
