Violation for Concurrent Sessions Teradata

Hi, I am writing to you for the following, since power bi desktop I try to extract data from a Teradata, but it only allows 4 concurrent sessions and I need to read 9 tables, and I tried to disable the loading of tables in parallel in power bi and even use a single connection and the option of references in power query but nothing works for me, can you advise me to solve this ??, thanks, My English is not very good, thanks in advance

    Hi jonathanruiz,

     

    Current I don't have teradata datasource to test, maybe you can try below methods if it works for your scenario.

    1. Turn off parallel loading in power bi option.

    2. Enter to query editor and turn off refresh option and keep only 4 query table in loading.

     

    BTW, you can also config your settings to allow more sessions, as I search from web, it told me max amount of teradata session is 120 per PE.

    How many sessions maximum can be assigned

    Each PE can handle 120 sessions. There is a tunable limit on the number of network-connected sessions per gateway, and the maximum that has been certified is 1200. Prior to Teradata 13.0, there was a limit of one gateway per node. It is now possible to configure multple gateways per node under some conditions.
