View as Role in Power BI Desktop Seems Broken

I have a small example of using row level security.  When I go to test it in Power BI Desktop, the View as Role seems to work for me, but not for "Other".  I could not figure out what I was doing wrong, so eventually just published it to the service to see and it works there.

Hi @Anonymous ,

We need to both choose Other users and SalespersonRole like the pic below. Then the username function will get the value of email address and display correctly.

Xue Ding,

Thanks!  That definitely did it.  The documentation is either wrong or confusing on this.
