Vertipack Analyzer
Hi
Has anybody successfully used Vertipack analyser via MS Excel to check what makes a model file large or complex?
I cant connect to SSAS due a transport layer error.

Thank you for your prompt response.
I have seen this video, but I struggle on this step where I want to connect to "dwserver:2384" which is where my tabular model is. When I click on Test connection or try to choose the tabular model file/db, I get an error message "...transport layer error..."

your datasource string would be like "localhost:52436" and last 5 digit you can obtain using the Dax studio. Basically, you connect your model using the dax studio. Once connect to your data model and at the right bottom of the dax studio screen you will see the message like below.
Now on your Vertipack excel file.
You can use that text as 1. data source and then 3. you will get dropdown option to select the initial catelog to use. Test your connection and refresh all.
