Hi, I`m building a large report that contains scores of pages with a number of scatter chart custom visuals (Dual Axis Scatter Chart Pro) and I need to show some vertical lines for specific dates. The analytics section allows me to add lines on an X or Y axis using chosen fields but choosing the data column doesnt allow me to specify a date, just a number and an aggregation, which is no good. I`ve seen a similar request for today`s date but that doesnt apply here as the dates I need to select are specific dates in the past.
Can anyone suggest some workarounds?
Thanks in advance.

Hi @BigAl ,
As a workaround, we can create a line chart and a date slicer to meet your requirements.
Create a line chart and drag the date column into the X-axis and the sales or other values into the Y-axis.
Then create a slicer and drag the date column into the slicer and you can change the style as required, select as many dates as required and the line chart will show the relevant values:
Note: Remember to disable the original visual interaction with the slicer, as shown below:
Best regards,
Joyce

Hi Joyce, thanks ever so much for this. Its definitely a viable solution. The only problem here is the report has 2 scatter charts per page and there are at least 50 pages containing 2 scatter charts so i`d be looking at changing 100 visuals from scatter charts to line charts. I`ll duplicate one of the pages and apply your solution and see how long it takes. Thanks again.
