Version control for PBIX files
Hi all,
I know there are alot of sophisticated solutions for version control using Azure DevOps etc. What I am looking for at this point is a more minimalistic approach to version control using OneDrive / SharePoint Online (which will give you the version history for each file)
In that sense I need a good system for administrating PBIX files with regards to:
- Different reports (i.e. different PBIX projects)
- Different departments
- Different stages of the PBIX (development, test, production)
- Different stages of the model/data (development, test, production - typically managed through parameters).
I am thinking to define a process and a folder structure, but I am eager to hear your tips.
How are you managing your PBIX files in your organization?
Best Regards,
Simen

I've seen quite a few of these. Folder structure, and using PBIT files. The specifics of the folder structure really depend on your organization and who all is doing report development, etc.
