Venn Diagram Issue on Filter

I'm using the Venn Diagram by MAQ. It works great until I use a filter then the legend items jump around. I can't figure out how to get them to stay in the same position even after filtering. Any ideas would be appreciated!

So, for instance, I'm using the three diagram option. The default upper left is the number of students who have a 3.0+, the upper right is the number of students enrolled in a CE course and the bottom is the number of students enrolled in AP courses. However, when I start filtering now my upper left is CE enrolled, upper right is now 3.0+ and the bottom is AP. Depending on the filter they will jump around randomly. 

I would appreciate any help on this. I need them to stay in the same place even on filtering.
