Variance bar chart

    You could create a measure and add it as a tooltip

     

    Total Actual Cost per Sub Assembly = 
CALCULATE(
    SUM(SubAssemblies[Actual Cost (£)]),
    ALLEXCEPT(SubAssemblies, SubAssemblies[Sub Assembly])
)
