Values with no corresponding Date
Hi There,
I have created a data table which is linked to another table. However, eventhough the relationship between the two tables has been established I see a substantial value not being grouped under a selected month / year. Attached is a screenshot. I have been trying to figure out what the error is but unable to spot the issue.
Those values have a date that is blank or outside the range of the date table. If the date table only has dates from 2019 and 2020, but those records are 2017 or 2021, you'll see this.
Remember that relationships in Power BI are not joins, they are filter relationships, but they won't prevent data that doesn't match any of the tables from appearing, they manifest as white space like this.
