Using the Custom Heirarchy Filter
I tried the data model in your snapshot, however the Hierarchy Slicer returns error "can't determine relationship between the fields". I don't know about your table and data structure, IMHO, to have all of the cost table reside in ONE Hierarchy filter without having (Blanks), one possible way might be to create a calculated table like
and create a calculated column in "the same table"(not seperated tables as in snapshot) accordingly. Then map those tables against those two calculated tables.
Hi Eric_Zhang, I'm not following, but to help us I've created this example .pbix file to demonstrate that the data model I pictured in my last post does work. Perhaps you can apply what your are talking about to this file.
