Using select all within a slicer

Hi All I have the multi select option on and also the search function within my slicers. When a search value is entered, then the select all button option disappears. Is there a way to "select all...

Hi andrewdoecke ,

According to my test, you can select show "select all" option in Format->selection controls. then search for relevant filter results in slicer, these displayed results are selected by default. But after testing, this way does not work for visuals, which still shows the results corresponding to the select all filter.

 

 

 

You can also vote here: Slicer: select all from search results  and wait for users with the same needs as you to vote for you to help make it happen as soon as possible.

    Hi Anonymous 

     

    If I try this the slicer shows the reduced options due to the search term (I search for the letter e) but the table is not filtered. I guess because the Select All option is still selected.   Did you do something else to achieve andrewdoecke desired outcome?
