Using result of line before to calculate

Hi all,

I have a situation and would like a help.

I have a a value "MaxValue" which is the total of hours planned for that project and I have a table with hours spent per time period. I would like to create a column which would be like a burndown chart. The total 312 - Hours for that period and then the next one would use the result to calculate against the hours spent in the second period. Any idea to helpe me? The image below shows what I want to achieve.

Thanks
