Is there a way to use a concatenation inside of a column reference? Specifically I have a table where I would like to evaluate the formula created by CONCATENATE("RELATED(FAF44_HiLoForecasts[value_",CONCATENATE('Table'[Year],"])"))
I would like to do this because I have a large dataset that is matrixed and I would like to un-matrix it to make it more usable.
The data I have is set up like this:
| Type | 2012 | 2013 | 2014 | 2015 |
| A | 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 |
| B | 5 | 6 | 7 | 8 |
| C | 9 | 10 | 11 | 12 |
And I'd like it like this:
| Type | Year | Value |
| A | 2012 | 1 |
| A | 2013 | 2 |
| A | 2014 | 3 |
| A | 2015 | 4 |
| B | 2012 | 5 |
| B | 2013 | 6 |
| B | 2014 | 7 |
| B | 2015 | 8 |
| C | 2012 | 9 |
| C | 2013 | 10 |
| C | 2014 | 11 |
| C | 2015 | 12 |
Thanks in advance!

I know this is not a direct answer to the question you asked, but for this you are probably better off using Power Query to "Unpivot Columns" before pushing the data into the model.

This is a much simpler way to accomplish what I was trying to.
Thanks!
