Using both legend and saturation with the shape map

Hello,

Is it possible to use both the legend and saturation at the same time with the shape map?

I am able to get the saturation to work correctly with only one color so long as I don't select a field in the legend well.  The shapes in my map are shaded by one color according to the saturation percentage in my table.

As soon as I select a field in the legend well, I do get different colors for each unique value in the legend field.  However, all the colors are displayed at full saturation.

I have a slicer which allows me to pick one category at a time.  The idea is for the map to change colors with the selection in the slicer and then the shapes to be shaded according to the saturation.
