Using a Filter to include/exclude column values that are measures in a Matrix visual

In the attached screenshot, you can see in my Matrix visual that I have Date columns (2015, 2016, 2017...) and underneath each year there are an additional two columns with values (Total Sales! and Total Quantity!). These two values both come from measures that I have created.

Now, if I want to see only 2015 and 2016, for example, I would simply create a Filter with date values, and select those two years that the list of dates.

However, if I want to see only Total Sales! values of 2015 and 2016, how would I go about that? I want to filter out the column Total Quantity! i.e. Is it possible to also create a Filter tool, but choose which sub-columns are shown in the Matrix? A Filter with a list of sub-columns two be shown?
