Using What-If parameter to set number of items

Hi all,

I'm trying to work on a dashboard that basically has items at different locations, and I'm trying to use what-if as a forcast to show how many hours/sales/gm the item will make. Basically the user will input the location, the item name, and the aisle and, in turn, the dashboard will take the value for the hours, sales, and gm that the item will either produce or take.

The text editor on the site won't let me create a table to show or explain how I envision this going, so I apologize.

Hi @Anonymous ,

You can create what-if variables for your reports, interact with the variable as a slicer, and visualize and quantify different key values in your reports.

Create a what-if parameter on the Modeling tab in Power BI Desktop. When you select it, a dialog box appears where you can configure the parameter.
