Using Tooltips on images

Hi,

I was wondering if it was possible to use an image to show a tooltip.

For example, I have created an image I wished to use in my report, added it and was hoping to be able use it so that when I hover over the image, my tooltip page is there like if used on a visual.

Is this possible?

Cheers,
Russell

    Thornell ,

Try this, create a button, and give it a tool tip. Put your image directly beneath this by using the selection pane, and make the button transparent.

If this solves your issues, please mark it as the solution, so that others can find it easily. Kudos are nice too.

Create a blank button first, then:

    1)  Under VISUALIZATIONS, select FILL, on the right, and select to ON.

-You can add an image there

-I found under IMAGE FIT, FIT worked best for me.

              -I moved TRANSPARENCY to 0%.

    4)  Select BACKGROUND to ON.

               -I moved TRANSPARENCY to 0%.

    3)  In order to add a TOOL TIP, you need to add an ACTION.  Select ACTION to ON, add ACTION, then add TOOL TIP below that.

    Good luck.

  • Thornell I think the simplest way is to turn on the action for the image, select an action like bookmark or page and then keep action "None", and here you can add your tooltip
