Try downloading the sample report that comes with this visual when you install it. There is an example of the visual you're trying to create. In the default version it may not be visible, but enable "axis labels" and you'll see the option you're looking for. Check this example—it might help you understand what you're doing wrong.

Helper IVHiding and enabling the axis labels resets them, but i cannot change the range of the gauge as you specified, as there are no options for this. I've accepted your post as a solution, because it might help someone with the same issue, but it didn't completely fix mine. Thanks.
