Helper IVUsing Tachometer E&A - Scale always defaults to 0-100
Hi,
I need to use a gauge visual in my report, but i'm struggling to find something that works on my specific case. For this, i need to include a value obtained from a measure, and 4 intervals (think bad, average, good, great). The only visual that i found that does this is a tachometer by E&A, but they don't provide support. When i use this visual, even if the maximum value is 30 or 10, the scale of the visual always goes from 0-100.
Is there anyway to change this? I've tried looking in the settings but no luck. Also, if there's another visual that would do what i need, i would be happy to try it.

Try downloading the sample report that comes with this visual when you install it. There is an example of the visual you're trying to create. In the default version it may not be visible, but enable "axis labels" and you'll see the option you're looking for. Check this example—it might help you understand what you're doing wrong.

qmestuHiding and enabling the axis labels resets them, but i cannot change the range of the gauge as you specified, as there are no options for this. I've accepted your post as a solution, because it might help someone with the same issue, but it didn't completely fix mine. Thanks.

I went through your issue, and I believe the suggestion given by Elena_Kalina is exactly what you're looking for. In the Tachometer visual by Annik, the scale appears fixed at 0–100 by default, but this can be changed by turning on the “Axis Labels” option from the Format pane.Once you enable it, you’ll be able to define your own range like 0–30 or 0–10, and set custom intervals like Bad, Average, Good, and Great.

I would suggest the following:
1. Either create a solution that fits your needs with the default gauge. You make a small twist in the coloring as you like with double visual layers, and even conditional formatting for the bar. Here is an example I made with the default gauge and an A.I. generated gauge frame (with mistakes). It looks ugly, but if you spend more than 5 minutes that I did, you will get there.
2. Or you use the Tachometer by Annik here. And here you can find a post by Tzvi Keisar.
