Using PowerBI as a front-end for Azure Log Analytics

I'm looking to use PowerBI as a front-end visualization tool for Azure Log Analytics. I've been referred to DirectQuery, but didn't see anything that led me to believe Azure Log Analytics is supported.

Does anyone know if there's a way to hook up PowerBI to Azure Log Analytics so I can avoid having to migrate many gigabytes of data over daily.

If there isn't a way, how can I put in a request to have this feature added?

@t-natahi,

You may take a look at https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/log-analytics/log-analytics-powerbi.

I am aware of this method and it's not what I'm looking for as it requires I export data from Log Analytics and import that data into PowerBI.  I want to directly query Log Analytics data from PowerBI.

Where you able to figure it out? I am currently working on data analysis and I want to use Power BI as a front end as well.
