Using Power Bi online dataset

Sure, go to File Explorer and find your Power BI Desktop file. It has a PBIX extension. Copy that file and rename it to a .ZIP extension.
So, copy MyFile.pbix to "MyFile (Copy).pbix" and then rename "MyFile (Copy).pbix" to MyFile1.zip.
If you are good at a command prompt you can just use:
copy MyFile.pbix MyFile.zip
Then, open the .zip file in File Explorer. You will see a "Connections" file with no extension. Double-click it and when it prompts you, choose Notepad or some other text viewer to open it. You will see the connection information in the file. It will refer to a GUID I believe that identifies the dataset in the Power BI Service.
Greg_Deckler your explanation was very useful but I can't find GUID field in Connections file. Maybe his format has changed during time.
