Userelationship and prior period

Hi,

I thought that I was writing a simple formula but I get a "Blank" result.  I am trying to get a count of the deals that were created in the same period of the prior year.  I need to use the USERELATIONSHIP function because my dates table has a primary link to a different date column in the data set.  The current month count works perfectly (I used the same formula without the DATEADD filter.  What am I missing?

LY Created # = CALCULATE(COUNT('Pipe Drive'[Value]),
DATEADD('Dates Table'[Date], -1, YEAR),
USERELATIONSHIP('Dates Table'[Date], 'Pipe Drive'[Deal created]))

Thanks,

John

I watched your video but I don't see how it applies.  My normal date slicers work well.  My only issue is my prior period dax measures when I am using USERELATIONSHIP.  Maybe I am missing something?

@Anonymous How you are viewing this new measure? If you add a table visual, put months or year from date tables and this measure, do you get the value?

At this point I just want to see the count on a card.  The card ends up showing "Blank".
