Used field list?

Hi,

Is there a way to get a list of all the table fields that are NOT being used in any report visuals? I am re-working a few repots and the creater loaded all of the fields in about 10 tables. The report is six tabs long and have a lot of visuals. I want to delete the unused fields and reduce the size of the report.

Cheers!

Peter

HI @Anonymous,

Current power bi does not include features to show these not used fields.
Perhaps you can try to use the external tools to directly link to the power bi data model and check the usage and relationship mappings:

thank you for the fast reply! I am working on a PowerBI report. I am not the original creator. the report is made up of 10 tables. Each table has about 30 fields. Many of the fields being imported are not being used in any report visuals. How do I determine wheich fileds are not being used, so that I can remove them from being imported.

Sincerely,

Peter
