Use multiple slicers to filter different fields in same table
I am trying to use two different date range slicers to filter the order volume for a before and after period. I believe I need to create a new calculated table with a different date field, but I am unsure of the DAX required for this. Right now, both the date slicers are filtering both columns. Any insight would be great, thanks!

You can use “Edit interactions” feature in Power BI Desktop to achieve the above requirement.
In your scenario, create two card visuals using the order volume field. Firstly, click on the first date slicer, turn on “Edit interactions” under Format ribbon, then select “None” for the second card visual and select “Filter” for the first card visual.
Secondly, click on the second date slicer, then select “None” for the first card visual and select “Filter” for the second card visual. This way, you can use the two different data range slicers to filter the two card visuals separately.
