Urgent help regarding Making some KPI'S
Dear all,
I am new to powerbi, I have a powerbi dashboard where i have to add some of the KPI'S from a Excel file. some of the columns are dependent columns on 2 or 3 columns like when u click on the column u see formula like N26 - N29 etc.
I would like to import these columns in my PBI report and make KPI'S from them.
the excel file data is like 100 columns but i just need 5-7 columns. should i just get get data import and then make measures to show the KPIS? or is there any workaround i would be grateful for your tips or suggestion

Anonymous Yes, you should import the data you need and then you can either use default aggregations (sum, max, min, average, etc.) on columns or create measures for your KPIs. Not sure how much more detail I can provide given the information provided.
Can you post sample data as text and expected output? Not really enough information to go on, please first check if your issue is a common issue listed here: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Community-Blog/Before-You-Post-Read-This/ba-p/1116882

The most important parts are:
1. Sample data as text, use the table tool in the editing bar
2. Expected output from sample data
3. Explanation in words of how to get from 1. to 2.
