Urgent help---Roles in powerbi
Hi Everyone,
I need your help on role based filters in power bi.
I want to show the dashboards by using role based filter wise. From the above screenshot I give an example for our understanding.
I use four slicer to show the dashboards,
1.First I select state bank from multiple banks in a drop down
2.If I click the place it displays the multiple place in a dropdown belongs to that selected bank only
3. If I click the designation it displays the multiple designation in a dropdown belongs to that place only
4. If I click the username it displays the multiple username in a dropdown belongs to that selected designation only.
How can I do this in powerbi.. kindly help me on this role based work?
Advance thanks to all,

Hi amitchandak ,
Thanks for your reply. I tried what u shared the links I didnt get an idea about my expected results. I attach my screenshot for your reference.
From the above screenshot You are able to see the filters and the table,
In that filter only I want to use the roles
1. If I click customername like citi bank
2. The places filter displays the related place to citi bank
3.The designation filter displays the related designation based on places
4.The username filter displays the details related to designation
After all the filters clicked then only the table data will show.. Is it possible?
Queries:
If the customername is more than 20 how can I give the roles dynamically?
Advance thanks,
