Upload error from PBI Desktop to PowerBI.com
Error Message:
Publishing failed for an unknown reason. (FailedToRefreshPackageAfterImportError)
I was just able to publish a PBIX file to the Service so perhaps the issue is resolved.

Called MSFT, got someone looked at my error message. Got response that all US central cluster url related publishing servers are having issues. No estimated resolving time yet.

Go to File | Options and settings | Options | Diagnostics and "Enable tracing". Try republishing and then check your log file and see if there is any additional information. You can post it here or you can go to support.powerbi.com and "Contact Support".

I have been receiving the same error and have deleted all of my reports and data sets from PowerBI as well and have not had any luck getting it to publish.
I know just got a Publishing Failed for an unknown reason.

jgrayrandytoppGreg_Deckler I submitted a service ticket with links to all these threads, and recieved a response in ~15 minutes. Microsoft is aware of this issue and the CSS team is working with the product group to find a resolution.

Greg_Deckler I receieved word from the CSS on my ticket that the product team has identified the cause and are expecting to test a fix later this evening. Maybe you are just lucky :)
