Updating Data Table While Keeping Measures
- Anonymous2 years ago
Hi p0wer_user ,
Ensure that the structure (columns and data types) of the new Excel file is identical to the existing file. This ensures that the data replacement process goes smoothly.
Open the data source setting in desktop and make changes to excel.
Additional Tips
Backup your work: Before performing these steps, it's always a good idea to save a copy of your Power BI file (PBIX) as a backup.
Data validation: After updating the data, validate key measures and totals to ensure the update process did not introduce any discrepancies.Best Regards,
