Update Power BI Desktop

Hello Experts, Is it always necessary to update the Power BI Desktop from What's New blog. Is there any way to update the desktop automatically when the new features are released every month? Any Suggestions are greatly appreciated. Regards Chaitanya

    If you download the Windows Store version, it will update automatically, without needing to download it and install it again.

    Be aware that there's two versions, one is mobile and the other one is desktop.

    Nothing has been automated, you need to grab the new package each time.  Power BI will give you an update warning in the bottom right hand corner.
