Hi all,
I've created a basic Power BI visual dashboard and now looking to take steps to applying a refresh dataset. When i initally imported my data, i transformed it and added additional columns.
Is there a way to import a dataset into the Power Query table while maintaing the applied steps?
Thanks

Hi @rpjheeney,
Thanks for aduguid relpy。
Based on your description, if you want to update the dashboard and want to apply the steps before power query. The best way is to configure refresh for the dataset. the steps in power query are automatically applied to the new data. In power bi service, a timed refresh will make it easier to update your dashboards in time when you have changes in your data.

You can open the advanced editor and copy the steps of the previous import in the M language.
