Update Notofication check box is disabled

Looking for your support, i try to enable update Notification but it is disabled and could not enable this
Anonymous - I believe that if you are using the Power BI Desktop App from the Microsoft Store, that setting is disabled because it is kept up-to-date automagically. That setting is for the Desktop application that you download not from the store.

Hi Anonymous ,
Greg_Deckleris correct. Your microsoft store Power BI application automatically updates itself and hence the checkbox is disabled.
You can probably uninstall from store and download the desktop version from here so as to install the Power BI Desktop software in your system.
