Update Broke BQ Connector

The current update broke the BQ Connector!!

    Hi david654100 ,

    From the error details, it looks like the latest Power BI update has removed or broken a required dependency for the BigQuery connector:

    Apache.Arrow.Adbc.Telemetry.Traces.Listeners (Version=0.21.0.0)

    This missing DLL is causing all BigQuery‑based queries to fail during refresh.

    Steps I plan to follow:

    1. Roll back Power BI Desktop to the previous stable version (before the update).
    2. Re‑install the latest BigQuery connector package.
    3. If the issue still persists, I will
      • Raise a support ticket with Microsoft, and
      • Check if Google has released a patch for the ADBC connector issue.
    4. Meanwhile, refreshes cannot run until the missing Apache Arrow dependency is fixed.

    Please let me know if we already have a known workaround or if anyone has a working previous version installer.
