Unwanted filter changes in Reading view

Not 100% sure that this belongs on this part of the forums but here I am.

My basic problem is this: I created a report for a group that I support. The report itself, other than maybe being a bit slow (probably caused by my less than ideal DAX coding), works exactly as intended while I'm in the desktop app. When I publish the report and the end user switches between pages of the report, they do not see the report as I set it up. Immediately they can click the "Reset to Default" button at the top of the page because the page isn't using the same setup/filters that I have in the desktop app. On my overview page, which is the first page and only page of the report that they can see without clicking buttons to navigate the rest of the report, this is particularly an issue because two of the visuals only work when the proper filters are applied but any navigation away from and back to the overview page automatically seems to alter the filter of these visuals. Needless to say, it looks less than professional when the report shows errors, even if they shouldn't exist in the first place.

Can anyone tell me if it is possible to prevent the filters from deviating from the default that explicitly created for good reason and how to do so or is this something I am just going to have to live with as a PowerBI "quirk"? I thought changing the persistent filter setting might help, but it did not.

    HI Anonymous ,

You can consider turn on below option to prevent end users to modify default filters or create a bookmark with default filter settings so that they can click on it to rest filters.
