HI I have thse columns in Query editor within certain table, Column names are names of other tables in database.
I m afraid of influencing speed of my report.
I use relations between tables, but I have not added this directly into query.
Is it possible to remove thse columns? Or it depends on relations that I have set up in Power BI?
Does it influence speed of my report,
@pstanek,
When the data is loaded Power BI Desktop, Power BI Desktop looks at column names in the tables you are querying to determine if there are any potential relationships. If there are, those relationships are created automatically. For more details, please review this article: https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/documentation/powerbi-desktop-create-and-manage-relationships/ .
In your scenario, if you don‘t need to use the columns in your report or calculations, you can remove these columns.
Regards,
Lydia
